SAVE A LIFE: DONATE BLOOD

Donating blood is an action that not only helps save lives, but it also has many benefits for the donor.

Indeed, donating blood:

  • Promotes good blood circulation;
  • Stimulates bone marrow and regenerates blood cells (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets);
    Reduces the volume of iron present in the body, but too high a level of iron in the blood can make the blood thicker, which increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases and heart attacks.

People who donate blood, at least once a year, are the least vulnerable to infection, circulatory diseases, and leukemia.

Who can donate blood?

  • Any healthy person;
  • Age 18 to 60;
  • Weighs more than 50 kg.
